We use the most durable and scratch-resistant powders on the market, so your metals will stay vibrant and clean. We have over 6000 colours to choose from, including an array of custom finishes like chrome, matte, semi-gloss, and high-gloss.
How It Works
Powder Coating is a multi-step dry finishing process for all types of metal. First, the technician will start by media blasting (also known as sand blasting) the metal to clean it of any rust, oils, dirt, or previous powder coating paint. After the surface has been prepped, it's time to apply the powder paint. We use an electrostatic spray deposition (ESD) method, meaning the powdered paint is applied using an electrostatic spray gun. The spray gun then electrically charges the particles so that the paint can then adhere to the part’s electrically grounded surface. Once the powder has been applied, the part is placed in a powder curing oven where the thermoset powder particles will melt an undergo a chemical process bonding them to the metal.
